Target Archery has been a sport for well over 600 years and apart from some modern materials which make bows and arrows stronger and lighter, it has remained fundamentally the same, simply developing from weapons for hunting and warfare.
So each time you pick up a bow it’s like stepping back in time, the way we shoot now is exactly the same as our medieval ancestors did.
There’s something very ancient about taking aim at the target and releasing your arrow, with a very rewarding and satisfying feeling when you strike gold.

09.45 Ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick
10.40 Transfer to Adventure Centre for a
warm welcome with your instructor.
11.00 Commence activity
Showers / Optional swim, steam, sauna
15.00 Lunch in the Cruize Bar
16.15 Transfer to pier for return sailing to Ardrossan
(Optional later sailing of 19.20)
