A beautiful coastal walk. Aside from splendid scenery, there are opportunities to see seals and otters, many different types of shore birds, and out to sea you may sight dolphins, porpoises or even a basking shark. Look out for the two sets of three tall white beacons; the distance between the sets (when the three beacons are lined up) is a sea mile, and is used to test the speed of ships built or repaired in the Clyde shipyards.

Walk description:
The route starts on flat (potentially wet) ground between the shore and a low cliff to Newton Point. After about 1.5km you will see the white cottage at Fairy Dell. After a further 1km or so, there is a short scramble over rocks at An Scriodan. From there the path continues to the white cottage at Laggan (at 8km) and then on to Millstone point and Fallen Rocks (look out for the beacons), with a steep slope to your right and the short to the left. Beyond the rock fall the path becomes a wider track through some woodland.
