What to expect
Top-roping is a fantastic introduction to climbing with ropes. This session will start with 20 minutes bouldering to get warmed up, then moving on to climbing with ropes and the techniques used. One of our fully qualified instructors will be on the other end of the rope so should you come off the rock, you will fall no more than a couple of inches.
Personal Equipment Required
A sturdy pair of shoes/boots are important to help you get the most from this session and a camera is always a good idea. This is a three-hour session so you may also want to bring along a drink or snack.
Additional Information
Return transport is provided from the Adventure Centre in Brodick as well as all specialist equipment and instruction.
Children
Most of our Adventure Activities are suitable for children from 6 years and up, though we do ask that they be accompanied by a responsible adult. We are also able to work with unaccompanied teenagers, at the "U Teen" rate.
When does this activity run?
During the main season (Easter-end October) or on request (subject to minimum numbers). Private groups by arrangement.
