Gorge walking or gorge scrambling is an excellent family activity. It combines climbing up waterfalls, plunging into deep pools and sliding down natural rock flumes.Families with young children (as young as six), return year after year for gorge walking, making it a best seller! There isn't anything too difficult or strenuous about this activity and the gorge has a path running parallel to it meaning we can get out at any point and walk around any challenges we decide are too difficult.

The gorge we use for families lies towards the the North of the island and is nestled in the spectacular setting of North Glen Sannox.
