What to expect
Arran is home to some of the best rock climbing in Britain, with its rugged granite peaks and stunning sandstone cliffs, there is a variety of graded climbs to reward any climber.
Largy Beg is a fantastic venue for group climbing; there are a variety of climbs from short and easy to longer and more difficult. One of our fully qualified instructors will be on the other end of the rope so should you come off the rock, you will fall no more than a couple of inches.
There will a number of pitches for you to try, each climb getting progressively more difficult. Our sessions are designed for first time outdoor climbers and those looking to improve their technique.
By the end of the session everyone will be moving over the rock face like Spiderman (costumes not included!).

This session will be tailored to the suit the ability of the group.
What's included
- 3 hour Climbing session with all specialist
equipment and instruction.
- Group minibus transport as required between
ferry terminal or island accommodation on the day of
the activity session.
- Digital photography: a gallery of pictures from your
group's session will be available to download from
your account area of our website.
What to bring with you
- Loose comfortable clothing with warm layers that
you can adjust to weather conditions
- Old trainers / climbing shoes
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Bottle of water / juice
- Any personal medication

NB: During the autumn and winter period (October 2009-March 2010), we can accommodate smaller groups with a minimum group size of 7 (or the cost of 7).

How to make a booking
Send us an enquiry to check availability for your dates. A deposit of 40% of the total is due to confirm a booking, with the balance payable two weeks prior to the event.
