In the North of Arran, there are rugged mountains which provide the ideal opportunity for your staff to get up there and truly appreciate the splendour of the West of Scotland. Unlike many places, Arran’s mountains are very accessible with average return times of 4-5 hours for delegates of no particular fitness.

Boarding our Powerboat “Clyde Adventurer” and leaving Clyde Marina at Ardrossan, Arran’s mountains come into spectacular view with Goat fell standing proudly at 874m. Not quite a Munro, Goatfell has several approaches which allows us to choose one which is suitable for your delegates. Depending on the experience and fitness of your team we may split into 2 groups to allow the determined to get to the top and the more leisurely to go as far as they want, without any pressure to keep up. Armed with a very small, light weight rucksack and a top quality packed lunch, the day gives a great opportunity to stretch legs and see the West of Scotland (Ireland on a good day) from a breathtaking perspective under the expert guidance of our local and highly knowledgeable instructors. The day is rounded off by warm showers, sauna or swim and bar tea at the Auchrannie Spa, before the return ferry trip to Ardrossan.
