The shorebased courses provide a brilliant opportunity to really get down to the nitty gritty of what this "Navigation Thing" is all about. The courses are designed to provide the relevant theory to reinforce the practical courses and will give confidence to any new skipper. Developing your skippering skills is all about balancing your hands on sailing experience with a thorough understanding of navigation, meteorology and seamanship.

We use the conference facilities at the Auchrannie Spa to deliver a first class intensive course over 5 days which will allow you to really get to grips with everything. You can stay at the Auchrannie or accommodation of your choice.
