What to expect
New for this season we are offering individuals the chance of a 2 day clinic to introduce them to the sport of Sea Kayaking. Qualified world class instructors will guide you through the fundamentals for safe, enjoyable Sea Kayaking. Working at your pace and introducing new topics when relevant in a safe enjoyable format, these two day clinics are a must for enthusiastic adventurers. Topics covered over the two days will include connecting to the Sea Kayak, effective forward paddling technique, rescue techniques and environmental and tidal awareness. Our hope is you will leave after the two days feeling confident and enthused about the sea kayaking and have the technical ability to go onto the water as part of a group with the skills required to enjoy the sport.
You will be in the hands of top quality instructors trained by the British Canoe Union to the highest standard and all our specialist equipment will be provided to contribute to your experience.
Suitability / Grading:
Easy: This session is suitable for complete begginners and we will cover the following topics during the two days, connecting to the Sea Kayak, effective forward paddling technique, rescue techniques and environmental and tidal awareness. Our hope is you will leave after the two days feeling confident and enthused about the sport of sea kayaking and have the technical ability to go onto the water as part of a group with the skills required to enjoy the sport.
What's Included?
- Group minibus transport is provided from the Adventure Centre in Brodick;
- The services of a fully qualified instructor;

Children
This session is suitable anyone aged 16 or over.
Additional Information
Kayaking is a water based activity and there is the possibility of getting wet! All participants must be water-confident and will wear the buoyancy aid we supply whilst on the water.
