What to expect
You will discover spectacular seascapes and an abundance of marine wildlife on this full day tour. We will spend some time exploring the coastline around Kildonan and there will be plenty of time for one-to-one tuition, followed by a crossing to the uninhabited Isle of Pladda for a picnic lunch. We aim to keep you dry and warm, but if you capsize you will know what to do and your instructor will be ready to help you get back into your kayak.
Wildlife
The touring element of this trip allows us to constantly explore new coastlines and kayaks allow you to get close to the shoreline where you will be able to see wildlife and the seabed at close proximity. This interesting coastal area is one of the best locations for close-up views of seals. Your guide will answer any questions you may have about the wildlife around this beautiful coast.
We are committed to the WiSe wildlife watching code of conduct, which aims to respect the wild nature of animals and not to cause undue disturbance.
