What to expect
This is the perfect way for families to make the most of the Arran Wildlife Festival. Spend a half day paddling either single kayaks that are designed with the beginner in mind or double kayaks that let the kids come along too. The session will involve a little bit of instruction before we go afloat, making sure you know exactly how to sit in, steer and have fun in the kayaks. We aim to keep you dry and warm, but if you capsize you will know what to do and your instructor will be ready to help you get back into your kayak.
Wildlife
The touring element of this session allows us to constantly explore new coastlines and kayaks allow you to get close to the shoreline where you will be able to see seals and seabirds at close proximity. Your guide will answer any questions you may have about the wildlife around this beautiful coast.
We are committed to the WiSe wildlife watching code of conduct, which aims to respect the wild nature of animals and not to cause undue disturbance.
