What to Expect
Have fun with this half day session as we introduce you to the sport of kayaking in the sheltered waters of Brodick Bay. Don’t worry if you haven’t paddled before; the kayaks we use are designed to be stable and easy to get in and out of and one of our qualified instructors will teach you the basic techniques. There is the possibility of getting wet on this session as the instructors will be testing your skills and ability with games and exercises that the whole family will enjoy.
Suitability / Grading: Easy
This session is great for families and younger children who have little or no kayaking experience. It is also suitable for teenagers who are bursting full of energy and want to get wet on the water.

We supply participants with a kayak, a paddle and all specialist equipment from wetsuit to cagoules. We also supply a personal flotation device, which we will wear whilst on the water. We have a selection of wet suit socks to keep your feet extra warm.

Please bring along swimwear to wear under the wetsuit, as well as a towel. We recommend you bring along a pair of shoes you don't mind getting wet, a long-sleeved t-shirt or fleece, a bottle of water and sun hat/lotion & sunglasses.
