The Arran Adventure Company is privately owned and operated by Calum McNicol & Donal Boyle, both former instructors and colleagues at the Scottish National Watersports’ Centre. They started in 2003 to build the Company with the ambition of delivering activities they are passionate about in a format, which makes the magical world of Outdoor Adventure accessible to the widest possible variety of clients. To make things even better, they chose the truly stunning, mountainous Isle of Arran in the sheltered waters of the Firth of Clyde - which also happened to be their home!

The ethos behind the business is driven by a thorough understanding of the international adventure industry and a passion to give people of all ages, the best possible outdoor experience. In order to do this, we use world-class instructors with great personalities, who specialise in delivering activities with a level of service one might expect of a quality hotel or restaurant.

The Arran Adventure Company is now one of the highest profile Adventure Activity providers in Scotland and was rated amongst the top 5 in the 2007 Adventure Scotland Awards.
